Format & Eligibility

SCAMPe is a 36-hole individual stroke play tournament played in two rounds over tournament week, March 13–15, 2027, at Legends Golf Course on Parris Island in Beaufort, SC. Golfers of all functional abilities compete together in a fun and competitive format — scored and flighted so every player has a fair shot at the trophy.

Tournament Week Schedule (Tentative)

  • Saturday, March 13 — Optional Meet & Greet at Fish Camp, 11th Street (location tentative) · Guided tram tour of the history and facilities on Parris Island, included in your entry fee (time and date to be confirmed)
  • Sunday, March 14 — Registration, 8:00 AM · Shotgun Tee Off (Round 1), 10:00 AM · Banquet Dinner (location TBD), 6:00 PM
  • Monday, March 15 — Shotgun Tee Off (Round 2), 9:00 AM · Awards Ceremony to follow

Exact hole-by-hole tee and flight assignments will be announced as registration fills. Sign up early to lock in your spot and let us plan tee assignments around your Sport Class.

Driver’s License

Legends Golf Course sits inside Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island. Your driver’s license is required to process base gate access for tournament weekend — see Base Access & DBIDS info for what to expect at the gate.

We’ll do our best to honor pairing requests, but they can’t be guaranteed.
Legends at Parris Island is currently planning clubhouse renovations, which may affect ADA-equipped restroom availability during tournament weekend. Letting us know in advance helps our committee confirm accessible facilities or arrange alternatives before you arrive.
